Research Interests

Microcoil
I am a Title A Research Fellow at Trinity College. I investigate the physics of correlated electron systems using quantum oscillations and nuclear magnetic resonance at ambient and high pressures.

To perform magnetic measurements under pressure, a microcoil is placed inside the gasket hole of an anvil cell. This configuration has so far enabled the measurements of the de Haas-van Alphen effect, NMR and AC susceptibility (see this as well as my publication list below). The setup can also be adapted for high frequency inductive measurements under pressure (e.g. tunnel diode oscillator).

I work closely with Dr. Michael Sutherland and Dr. Patricia Alireza in Quantum Matter Group.

My research is supported by Trinity College.
